Bonners Ferry Wrestling Club participates in Lake City tournament

On Nov. 1, the Bonners Ferry Wrestling Club participated in the Lake City tournament at Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene. It was the second week of the North Idaho Wrestling League. The club will wrestle next on Nov. 8 at Coeur d’Alene High School. 

According to the wrestling club, it was another awesome wrestling day and the club performed extremely well. Improvement was visible and fundamentals continue to be built and displayed at these events. Several wrestlers scored points and won matches.  

In the first two meets of the North Idaho Wrestling League's season, the Bonners Ferry wrestlers have been aggressive on their feet, attacking the legs of their opponents for takedowns and putting their opponent on their backs.   

The 6U wrestlers received either a blue or red ribbon for each match depending on how they did.
