This week’s Poster Player of the Week presented by Corwin Motors goes to Columbia Falls state champion Onnikka Lawrence.
Lawrence scored two goals in the Class A state championship and led the Wildkats to a 4-0 victory over Bigfork in their second state championship in program history.
Both her goals came a minute apart; the first was put home after an assist from her teammate Taylor Rodgers; the second was an unassisted strike after forcing a turnover in the Valkyries defensive side of the field.
The last time the Columbia Falls girls won the title was 21 years ago in 2004 with their 6-1 victory over Laurel.
Congratulations again to Onnikka Lawrence for winning this week’s Poster Player of the Week honors.
Hats off to a magnificent season for the Wildkats and taking home the first-place hardware that will forever be remembered.
