Tickets are on sale for the traditional Lutefisk, Lefse and Norwegian Meatball Luncheon hosted by Sons of Norway Harald Haarfager Lodge in Coeur d’Alene.

This annual event will be held Nov. 15 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 812 N. Fifth St.

Guests will enjoy classic favorites lovingly prepared the traditional way — tender meatballs in rich gravy, hand-rolled lefse and the famous (or infamous!) lutefisk served with all the trimmings — butter and cream sauce, potatoes, carrots, pickled beets and sandbakkels.

Reservations are required. Two seatings are offered. Seating No. 1 is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Seating No. 2 is from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Local craft vendors will have booths set up for some early Juletider (Christmas time) shopping.

Reservations can be made before Saturday by calling or texting 208-262-8020. Provide name, phone number, preferred seating time and number in party. Guests will receive a reply to confirm seating and payment options.

Tickets are $30 for non-members, $25 for lodge members and $15 for youth ages 7-18. Meals for kids 6 and younger are free with adults. Family cost for parents and youth is $70.

This cultural celebration brings a bit of Norway to the community each year. Friends gather with family and neighbors from all backgrounds to share a taste of the Old Country — Norway (or the Midwest)! Whether those interested have Norwegian roots or just love good food and fellowship, everyone is welcome.
