Cleaning Ninja 7B opens in Sandpoint

I grew up in the Tri-Cities, Wash., and have always loved to write. I attended the University of Washington, where I earned a double major in journalism and political science, with an area of emphasis in history. I am the fifth out of six kids — don't believe any of the stories that my siblings tell. To be able to tell others stories and take photos for a living is a dream come true — and I considered myself blessed to be a community journalist. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking and spending time outdoors, genealogy, reading, and watching the UW Huskies and the Seattle Seahawks. I am a servant to my cat, Frankie, who yes, will eat anything and everything in sight … even wedding cookies. | November 8, 2025 1:00 AM
SANDPOINT — Homes are a sanctuary and a sacred space.
Sara Thole, owner of Cleaning Ninja 7B, is determined to help area residents keep their homes special through her new business.
A small, woman-owned and -operated professional cleaning company, Cleaning Ninja 7B offers a wide range of services, from residential and commercial cleaning to construction and vacation rentals. The company is also the official cleaning provider for The Seasons at Sandpoint.
Thole has lived in the community for 20 years, working at a variety of local businesses, including Evans Brothers and Heart Bowls.
“I wanted to create something I could grow and build from scratch, and I noticed that there weren’t a lot of cleaning companies I would want to hire to clean my own home,” Thole said.
She saw an opportunity to create a different kind of cleaning company — one that is reliable, easy to work with and trustworthy. Her goal is to build a fun and vibrant workplace that pays above board while providing outstanding service.
Thole has worked hard to hire a team she describes as trustworthy, presentable and friendly. While the team is small now, she said those values will remain central as the company grows, with a focus on creating spaces that celebrate clients’ homes.
As the team expands, Thole said she hopes to continue hiring as many women from the community as possible. Cleaning Ninja 7B emphasizes professionalism and quality, with employees undergoing background checks, receiving training and dressing professionally. The company is fully licensed and insured, she added.
“The energy we bring is friendly but also focused,” she said.
The company is regularly adding vacation rental and construction clients and always has room for more, Thole said. She is also working to increase the number of homes and spaces the company serves.
“We are a team of passionate young women who actually care about you and your home and business,” Thole said. “We are seeking to provide more than just a cleaning service — a lifeline to our community. So many of us locals feel the stress of our little town growing, so we are right there alongside you, creating success for the people who love and care about this place.”
As a jiu-jitsu instructor and practitioner, Thole said she wants to empower the women who work for her as she grows the company into “something big and beautiful.”
Each employee is invited to train in jiu-jitsu, with much of the cost covered by Cleaning Ninja 7B.
“I am not just providing a job, but also an opportunity to foster empowerment in our community through self-defense and discipline,” she said.
