Louise Varner, 1933-2025
Louise Varner, 93, passed away peacefully Nov. 6, 2025, in Spokane Valley, Wash. A longtime resident of Post Falls, Idaho, Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Varner, who passed away in 2024.
Louise found great joy in her family, friends and the North Idaho community she loves so deeply. She was an active member of her church and was always ready to lend a hand to neighbors and loved ones. Known for her warmth and creativity, Louise enjoyed cooking, gardening and a wide variety of arts and crafts. Never afraid to try something new, she even became a clown later in life, bringing laughter and cheers to seniors throughout the community.
Louise's kindness, humor and generous spirit touched many lives, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Post Falls, Idaho.
