Driggs is a 15-time state medalist and a three-time team state champion since her freshman year at Sandpoint High. At the state championship as a freshman, was on the silver-medal 200 free relay, bronze-medal 200 medley relay, and finished fourth in the 200 IM and fifth in the 100 breast. As a sophomore, was a part of the winning 200 medley relay, third-place 200 free relay, and placed fourth in the 100 free. As a junior, was a part of the gold-medal 200 free relay (1:46.28), was second in the 50 free (25.63), fifth in the 100 free, and a part of the bronze-medal 200 medley relay. And as a senior, the standout sprinter placed second in the 50 free (25.70), fourth in the 100 fly, and was a part of the silver-medal 200 free and 200 medley relays to cap off an outstanding career. Sandpoint High head coach Greg Jackson said he believes Driggs has a strong chance of qualifying and scoring at NAIA Nationals and is poised to be the fastest sprinter in ACU history. "Mia is a sweetheart," Jackson noted. "She is always happy, bubbly, and lifting others up. She is selfless and a huge team contributor in the sense that she motivates and supports everyone. She has been a pleasure to coach, and rewarding to watch succeed. I have no doubt she will make waves at ACU and elevate their program."
