Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 3 weeks, 2 days AGO
John Thomas Weldon Tull passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Oct. 26, 2025, at the age of 95.
Born on May 27, 1930, John was a jack of all trades. He was hardworking and determined in everything he set his mind to. He poured concrete for many years and retired as a school maintenance worker.
He never ran out of stories about his life adventures, from mining in the Nevada deserts to installing a corded phone on a tree for his family in Rathdrum. John was always finding ways to make life fascinating! He loved bowling with his wife and playing cards with his family and friends. John loved fishing, and he shared this love with his family, creating wonderful memories for his children and grandchildren. John was very self-sufficient and loved taking care of his wife and their home; he did so for 53 years of marriage.
We will love and miss him until we see him again in heaven one day.
John is preceded in death by the love of his life, Bunny Tull, and his three sons, Tommy, Jamie and John Weldon Tull. He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Edmonds; his sons, John Mark Tull and Jerry Tull; and many family members who love him dearly.
