Step back in time for 'A Christmas Carol' radio broadcast

Celebrate the magic of the season with a nostalgic twist at the Conrad Mansion Museum when a live radio-style performance of Charles Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol," based on Orson Welles’ original play is presented in the Great Hall at the mansion. 

The event is Dec. 4, 5, 6, and 7. 

The talented actors of the Gypsy Theatre Guild will bring Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the Ghosts of Christmas to life from the second floor of the mansion as guests in the audience listen to the 90-minute broadcast below. Surrounded by twinkling lights, holiday décor, and the rich history of the Conrad Mansion, it’s an unforgettable way to step into the spirit of Christmas past.

Showtimes are Thursday, Dec.4 at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. 

Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for children 17 and under.

All proceeds benefit both the Conrad Mansion Museum and the Gypsy Theatre Guild, supporting local history and the performing arts in our community.
