Volleyball comes up short at divisionals

The Columbia Falls volleyball team had a tough go at the Western A Divisional tourney last week in Libby.

In the opener Thursday the Wildkats lost to Hamilton 25-21, 25-18, 25-11. They then beat Stevensville in three sets, but lost to Polson in loser out action, Stevensville in three sets 25-19, 29-27 and and 25-17; then lost to Polson in four sets 23-25, 22-25, 25-13, and 17-25.

While the tourney didn’t go their way, the Kats have a lot of returning players as they lose just two seniors to graduation, Alizabeth Hansen and Ashlyn Dunham.
