Bonners Ferry Wrestling Club goes to Coeur d’Alene

On Nov. 8, the Bonners Ferry wrestling club traveled to a meet at Coeur d’Alene High School. Over 800 wrestlers were in attendance for the third week of the North Idaho Wrestling League. It was the wrestling club’s second week in a row in Coeur d’Alene, after previously competing at Lake City High School.  

The Bonners Ferry wrestling club said that the wrestlers all performed extremely well. They keep improving each week and their fundamentals are becoming more solid.

Next week, the Bonners Ferry wrestling club will compete in Post Falls.  

In total, 38 athletes finished in the top four in their respective groups of eight, including14 boys in the 8U category.

Third place: Oliver Mann, Gunner Graham, Jackson Runyan 

Fourth place: Clancy Oxford, Jace Solomon, Kendrick Runyan, Adam Runyan, Luke Short, Abel Sumpter, Jaxon Smith, Ronny Calderone, Claire Schnittlinger
