The logs are all loaded, the fish are in the boat.  It's time to head down the mountain.

Francis Leo (Frank) Miller left us on October 30, 2025, in the warmth of his home.  Born in 1935 to Alfred and Dorothy (Parker) Miller in Wibaux, Montana, he attended schools in Sandpoint, Idaho, graduating in 1953.

Later that year, Frank married his high school sweetheart, Marcia DeMers.  They had many adventures  together over the years, traveling to Alaska, Mexico, Hawaii, and all parts in-between, attending every school and sporting event they could.

Frank proudly served in the U,S, Navy aboard the USS Wasp from 1954 to 1957 as an aviation machinist mate, with tours through the Pacific and around South America.  He spent 40 years in the logging industry, and was respected by all the 'kids' who spent their summers up in the woods under his watch.

Frank loved the outdoors, good music to dance to, family celebrations, Friday night card games, and a cold brew.  He bestowed cherished nicknames to everyone he cared about, would spontaneously break into song, and his laugh was echoed in those around him.

Frank is lovingly survived by his wife and dance partner of 72 years, Marcia; his three children, Tony, Kerrie, and Kathy; brother Edmond and sister Patricia; grandchildren,  TJ, Steven, Bill, Angela, and Aaron; seven great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews, and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Eleanor and Lucille.

The Miller family would like to thank the team at Eden Hospice for their kindness and care.

Frank requested no services, and would wish everyone a hearty 'Take 'er steady!'
