Sarah Eileen “Sally” Casey (née Cannon), 86, of Kalispell, Mont., passed away Nov. 6, 2025.

Born on Feb. 7, 1939, in Glendive, Mont., she grew up in a close-knit Catholic family and graduated from Holy Names Academy in Spokane in 1957.

After her first marriage to Lance Beecher ended, she found her true love, Pat Casey, with whom she shared 30 years until his passing in 2017.

Known for her elegance, humor and honesty, Sally was a talented seamstress and loved gatherings, golf and celebrating traditions with friends and family, especially St. Patrick’s Day at Casey’s Bar.

She worked as a loan officer at First National Bank and cherished her Christian faith and beloved Shih Tzu companions.

She was preceded in death by parents Rose and Harvey, daughter Polly Sue, husband Pat, siblings Jim, Don and Marilyn. She is survived by daughter Heidi Fox and grandson Ethan of Coeur d’Alene, granddaughter Andrea Barton of Las Vegas, brother Gary Cannon, son and daughter-in-law Mike and Denise Casey and their kids, Danny, Rachel and Catherine, and extended family.

Special thanks to Denise Casey for her devoted care and companionship.

A celebration of life will be held in Whitefish in June 2026; interment at Whitefish Cemetery.
