SANDPOINT — Community Resource EnVision Center has been selected by the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce as the organization's November Business of the Month.
CREC was recognized at the Nov. 13 chamber luncheon meeting.
Since 2010, CREC has served as a guiding light for Bonner and Boundary counties—connecting those in need, those meeting needs, and everyone in between, CREC Executive Director Katie Begalke said.
Through partnerships with over 350 local nonprofits and service providers, the EnVision Center helps individuals and families navigate the complex web of community resources, offering support for housing, transportation, utilities, employment, and more. This year, CREC continues to strengthen its impact through collaborative initiatives like the Festival of Trees, SPIN (Service Provider Information Network), and Live Give 7B, all aimed at building a stronger, more connected community.
“Our vision is to create a unified nonprofit and economic hub—an ecosystem where collaboration, innovation, and compassion come together to illuminate our community’s future,” Begalke said. “We’re grateful to the cChamber for recognizing this work and for celebrating the power of connection in our region.”
