Wolfpack soccer has 2 boys, 2 girls named All-State

Two girls and two boys from Glacier High School were named All-State for Class AA soccer, in voting by Western AA coaches conducted in early November.

Sophomore Gracie Winkler and junior Avilia Schmautz made the All-State girls squad while senior Tayton Hardman and sophomore Brecken Evenson were selected as All-State boys. 

Hardman, a defender, had three goals and one assist in 2025 for the Wolfpack, who went 12-3-1 and advanced to the boys AA semifinals, where they lost to eventual champion Gallatin.  

Evenson had a team-high 15 goals to go with seven assists to make the team at forward.  

Additionally, senior keeper Silas Young, sophomore defender Grant Lisowski and freshman midfielder Zander Schmautz were named all-conference from Glacier. 

Flathead sophomore defender Eli Glanville was honorable mention for the boys. 

Helena Capital keeper Owen Jenkins was named the player of the year. 

Winkler (18 goals, nine assists) and Schmautz (17 goals, five assists) finished 2-3 in the Western AA in scoring according to wallsoccer.net; only Helena’s Hailey Hayes had more goals (21) and points. They helped the Wolfpack to a 9-4-2 campaign that ended with a 2-1, double-overtime loss to Capital in the AA playoffs. 

Three more Glacier girls were named all-conference: Senior defender Rachel Brannan and sophomores Bailey Dahlman and Neve Travis at midfielder. Another sophomore, Lucy Holloway, was honorable mention. 

Flathead sophomore defender Chloe Baker was an all-conference selection, and the Bravettes’ Adeline Schneider, a junior midfielder, was honorable mention. 

Capital’s Jane Stiffler was named the conference’s player of the year.
