Bonners Ferry wrestling club competes in Post Falls meet

In the fourth meet of the season, the Bonners Ferry wrestling club wrestled at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls at the Panhandle Championships.

The wrestling club said there was some sweat, some tears and a little blood, but it was still another great weekend of wrestling for the club.

Instead of eight person brackets, which had been the case in the first three meets of the season, there were 16 person brackets. This meant that several of the wrestlers competed in six or seven matches, more than they had previously done this season.

Another change was in the 6U category, where the wrestlers competed for medals, instead of being given a blue or red ribbon.

The wrestling club said this meet was the toughest of the season, but many Bonners Ferry wrestlers won matches and some narrowly missed placing.
