The Community Resource EnVision Center is presenting the inaugural Festival of Trees Christmas Jubilee Concert later this month.

Featuring the Bonners Ferry Community Orchestra in its debut Sandpoint performance, the concert will be held Sunday, Nov. 30, from 3 to 6 p.m. at The Hive, 207 N. First Ave.

The festive concert brings together musicians from across North Idaho for a joyful afternoon of holiday favorites and classical pieces, including "O Holy Night", "Sleigh Ride Fantasy", "Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming", and "A Festive Baroque Christmas". Audiences will be treated to rich performances from the orchestra’s string, brass, and woodwind ensembles, as well as harp, piano, and vocal solos — a true showcase of local musical talent, Katie Begalke, CREC executive director, said.

Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with classic and contemporary holiday favorites, performed by the talented members of the Bonners Ferry Community Orchestra. In addition to the concert, attendees can sip on holiday beverages, browse a charming Christmas shop, admire the Festival trees and fourth-grade gingerbread creations, and purchase Festival Passports for the downtown raffle experience.

Begalke said the Christmas Jubilee Concert marks a new chapter in the beloved Festival of Trees tradition — created to celebrate everything and everyone that makes the community shine. The event not only showcases the magic of the season but also expresses deep appreciation for the donors, partners, and volunteers who make the EnVision Center’s work possible year-round, the executive director said.

"We’ve never hosted a Christmas Jubilee Concert before, but this year felt like the perfect time to expand the celebration," Begalke said. "It’s about bringing Bonner and Boundary County residents together, sharing in the music, and giving thanks to the community that continues to support and uplift one another. We are truly stronger together."

The concert is part of the week-long Festival of Trees, an annual tradition benefiting the Community Resource EnVision Center’s work to connect local families with housing, stability, and support.
