Teascarlet Fine Art will open “Bloom to Death,” a new exhibit by featured guest artist Chris Komski, on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Through large, metal rust and patina wall sculptures, Komski transforms oxidation into art. “His work is all about capturing the elegance hidden in corrosion.” Hannah Sucsy, owner of Teascarlet Fine Art, described the exhibit.
“Komski captures the beauty of what’s breaking down, revealing the quiet elegance within impermanence. This exhibit turns decay into something alive--textured, luminous, and entirely unforgettable.”
An opening reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. at the gallery, 6389 Kootenai St. in Bonners Ferry.
