Dan Muldoon, 86

Daniel Thomas Muldoon, 86, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully, in his sleep, Oct. 14, 2025, in his home.
Dan was born in Quincy, Ill., to Dan and Grace Muldoon on Oct. 9, 1939.
He joined the United States Air Force in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1962. He attended Quincy College, earning a Bachelor of Science, and later earned a master's degree in forestry from the University of Montana. He worked as a lumber broker for Louisiana Pacific for over 20 years. He enjoyed mountaineering, hiking, fishing, hunting and all the various outdoor activities that North Idaho has to offer. He was deeply involved in his church community and highly valued his friends and family.
Dan is survived by his wife, Sharron Muldoon, of Post Falls, his sons, Dave and Matt Muldoon, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Portland, Ore., respectively. He is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas, and his parents, Dan and Grace.
