SANDPOINT — The holiday spirit is shining bright in downtown Sandpoint as the 12 Days of Giving returns later this month.
The annual event kicks off Nov. 28 and runs through Dec. 13. The event invites the community to shop local, enjoy festive decorations, and support IdaHope Families, a nonprofit serving families in crisis.
Participants can pick up or download a map of raffle locations at www.idahopefamilies.org/12days and visit each participating store to enter for a chance to win amazing prizes valued at $500–$600, enjoy refreshments, and experience the joyful Christmas windows created by local businesses.
Every raffle entry helps raise awareness and support for IdaHope Families’ mission to keep kids safe and families together. Every $10 raffle ticket helps prevent child abuse and family separation.
“This event reminds us what community at its best looks like,” said Christine Denova, IdaHope Families executive director. “When local businesses, churches, and neighbors come together, families in crisis find hope and belonging right here in Sandpoint.”
A local CASA Supervisor recently shared, “IdaHope Families is a tremendous local resource, giving struggling parents the support they need to rebuild stability and keep their children safe.”
IdaHope Families has provided more than 2,800 safe night stays, over 2,100 respite hours, and supported more than 370 children. These numbers represent real lives, kids sleeping safely, families kept together, and parents finding hope once again.
