The Glacier football team won the AA State Championship over Billings West in a 16-3 low scoring battle. The game was full of heart and grit from both sides, but the Wolfpack overcame their previous two title game losses and ended this season as champions.
Quarterback Jackson Presley is a highly respected athlete, but off the field is where the senior shines the most. All of his teammates throughout the season give Presley his flowers and explain how great a person he is, and how they thrive off his leadership on and off the field. In this interview, Presley gives an emotional thank you to his teammates, coaches, and fans for the experience of a thrilling season that saw not one loss.
Running back and linebacker Asher Knopik transferred to Glacier after his freshman year at Bigfork. He explains in his interview how his teammates can come together as one and let all egos aside; to conquer the goal they have had 365 days prior, get back to the title game and dominate from start to finish. Knopik has been a bright spot all season for the team, and just like his quarterback, he is highly respected because of his leadership and energy that shed off on the team.
Head coach of the Wolfpack, Grady Bennett, was full of emotion in his interview. He explains how historical this year's team is and talks about the memories that they will cherish forever. He also talks about this particular senior class that has made changes to the program that will continue to impact Glacier football for the coming years. Coach Bennett gives respect to all the opponents they have faced this season, but he knew this group was more than just special from the moment they touched the field, and how they present themselves to their community and classmates.
