Following is a summary of the provisions of Ordinance No. 1433. Ordinance Section 1 repeals and replaces City Code 5-2-10, Discrimination Prohibited, to align these provisions with existing federal and state civil rights law and to clarify that the City does not establish or enforce independent local definitions, protected classes, or complaint‑investigation procedures beyond those set forth by the United States Congress, the courts, or the Idaho Legislature.
