A Pablo woman, Rae’Anna Hohman, 24, entered a plea of guilty in District Court in Polson Nov. 13 to criminal distribution of dangerous drugs. The plea was entered as part of an agreement that could dismiss three felony counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs at sentencing.

Judge John Mercer, who is not bound by the agreement, set sentencing for Jan. 8.

According to court records, on Aug. 19, 2025, drug agents learned that an informant had the ability to obtain fentanyl pills from Hohman and obtained a search warrant to record the voices of Hohman and possible co-conspirators. The agents monitored the buy and watched as the informant met with Hohman and exchanged $200 for eight pills.

The agents monitored this same residence on Aug. 30 when an alleged supplier, Cody William Heffner, 25, arrived. Heffner was in possession of 201 pills when he was arrested. He pled not guilty to criminal possession with intent to distribute on Oct. 29 before Judge Molly Owen, who scheduled his case for trial on April 6. He’s at liberty.

Hohman remains in custody with bond set at $5,000.
