LEWISTON — Junior Brookeslee Colvin scored 16 of her game-high 26 points in the third quarter for the Coeur d’Alene Vikings in a 71-46 win over the Lewiston Bengals on Tuesday at Lewiston High.

"I felt like we got off to a slow start in the first two quarters, and our shots weren't falling," Coeur d'Alene coach Stacy Boyd said. "We started to lock in going into the third quarter and started to get back into our offensive and defensive rhythm and picked up the pace with our full-court pressure, which forced Lewiston into 19 turnovers in the first half. Once we settled in, I knew it was a going to be a matter of time before our shots started to fall, and we did that in the second half."

Junior Kyndal Bridge scored 11 points and sophomore Lexie Wheeler added 10 points for Coeur d’Alene (4-0), which hosts Eagle on Dec. 4.

Sophomores Paytland Schnell and Mady Bruce scored nine points each for Lewiston (1-2), which hosts Timberlake next Tuesday.
