Ski foundation fundraiser showcases signature dishes

Kick off the ski season in style at the 2025 Showcase of the Chefs – Apres Ski event on Dec. 4.  

Experience an extraordinary evening filled with gourmet cuisine, fine wines, and a vibrant atmosphere, all while supporting the Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation.  

Attendees have the chance to savor signature dishes from Wasabi Sushi, Latitude 48 Bistro, Gunsight Saloon, Whitefish Lake Restaurant, Mambo Mountain Italian, and the Boat Club (The Lodge at Whitefish Lake), all expertly paired with fine wines. In addition, enjoy a tasting table featuring spirits from Willie’s Distillery.  

This is the perfect opportunity to sample the best of local cuisine, bid on incredible silent and live auction items, and contribute to the success of hundreds of young skiers, racers, and freeriders.  

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the event at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. Tickets are online only at fvsef.org. 

FVSEF is a nonprofit valley-wide youth ski club including competitive race and freeride teams with over 265 participants coming from West Glacier to West Valley, Polson to Eureka, Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Whitefish, and everywhere in between. More than a third of the program budget comes from sponsors and fundraisers including the Showcase of the Chefs.
