It was cold, dark and wet on Sunday morning, but that didn’t deter a team of volunteers, including several bucket trucks from the Flathead Electric Cooperative, from installing the winter decorations in downtown Whitefish. A new addition to the sparkle is 13 lighted snowflakes drifting over the viaduct.

Wild shredders support outdoor recreation for everybody
DREAM Adaptive Recreation’s seventh annual Shred Fest brought some wild characters to Whitefish Mountain Resort Saturday, with participants in animal prints, tails, ears and whiskers, reflecting this year’s theme, Wild Thangz.
