It was cold, dark and wet on Sunday morning, but that didn’t deter a team of volunteers, including several bucket trucks from the Flathead Electric Cooperative, from installing the winter decorations in downtown Whitefish. A new addition to the sparkle is 13 lighted snowflakes drifting over the viaduct.

St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Whitefish has been undergoing an extensive repair, renovation and beautification project that might be completed in time for Christmas mass.
