It was cold, dark and wet on Sunday morning, but that didn’t deter a team of volunteers, including several bucket trucks from the Flathead Electric Cooperative, from installing the winter decorations in downtown Whitefish. A new addition to the sparkle is 13 lighted snowflakes drifting over the viaduct.

Whitefish soccer teams brought home two wins from road games last week.

A gathering last week at Bibler Home and Gardens in Kalispell, originally planned as a funeral, was instead, a vibrant 100th birthday party for Whitefish resident Dr. Jean Todd.
