Utah women's cross country
Peters, a junior from Post Falls High, finished 88th in the NCAA Championships last Saturday at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Mo., finishing the 3.73-mile race in 19 minutes, 54.3 seconds. Utah finished 17th as a team, the program's fourth-best finish in program history.
Hanah Stoddard
Northern Arizona volleyball
Stoddard, a redshirt junior from Lake City High, was named the Big Sky Conference co-Most Valuable Player. Stoddard, who redshirted for one season at Gonzaga before transferring to NAU, had 461 kills in 161 sets played for the Lumberjacks (23-7), with a season-high 26 kills on Oct. 2 at Montana State. NAU, the top seed in the Big Sky tournament, lost in five sets to eighth-seeded Idaho State on Monday in Greeley, Colo., and finished 23-7.
Wyatt Sandford
Carroll football
Sandford, a 6-foot-4, 290 pound redshirt junior offensive lineman from Coeur d'Alene High, was named to the All-Frontier Conference West Division first team. Sandford has started 10 games for the Saints (9-2), helping the team record their best passing numbers in the last six seasons. It was his first all-conference selection. Carroll, which beat St. Thomas (Fla.) 42-35 in the first round of the NAIA playoffs last weekend, travels to Montana Tech on Saturday at noon PST for a second-round game in Butte, Mont.

Giulio, a 6-foot, 200 pound defensive back from Coeur d'Alene High, was named to the All-Frontier Conference West Division second team. Giulio led the Saints in takeaways, finishing with five interceptions and a pair of fumble recoveries from his safety position. The redshirt junior had 63 tackles and added four pass break-ups.

Montana Tech football
Pearse, a 6-foot-3, 250 pound graduate student tight end from Post Falls High, was selected to the All-Frontier Conference East Division team after finishing with 23 catches for 310 yards and three touchdowns. Montana Tech, the third seed, plays host to Carroll in the second round of the NAIA playoffs Saturday at noon PST.
