GED classes are open for enrollment at the North Idaho College Adult Education Center in Sandpoint.

All tuition and instructional materials are free. New student orientation and placement testing are available.

Students receive instruction and can work with an instructor in a more personalized setting than traditional lectures. The approach allows students to progress independently at their own pace, focusing on subjects they need to improve.

Classes are available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with flexible scheduling options available at NIC at Sandpoint, 515 Pine St., Suite G in Sandpoint. To enroll, call 208-665-2796.

Classes are open enrollment and do not have registration deadlines.

A GED, offered to students 16 and older, confirms a high school-level education. It is accepted by most colleges, universities and employers as well as many schools and organizations across the world.
