William Brian Markgraff, 42, was born on December 18, 1982, in Trenton, Michigan, and tragically passed away on November 14, 2025, high upon a mountain doing what he loved, cruising the back roads.

Bill spent his younger years in Maybe, Michigan, with his mom and grandparents. In 1990, they moved to Wilderness Ranch, Idaho. He attended Garden Valley High School where he met his lifelong best friend, Brandon Dumont. He graduated in 2001. They both worked with Brandon’s dad, Ted, learning heating and air. Bill loved that and made it his career, starting All Weather Heating and Air.

Bill met Jessica “Babe” in 2007 and they moved to Bonners Ferry in 2009.

He lived life to the fullest, speeding up sand dunes in St. Anthony in his SxS, taking backroads to destinations that ended at a campfire with friends. He was the chauffer and navigator; you never got lost with Bill. He loved camping, shooting guns, YouTube, and Fords. Above all else he loved his babe more than anything! They meant the world to each other and were two days shy of spending 18 unforgettable years together. Bill never knew a stranger; everyone he met soon became his friend. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone, anytime. He truly was one in a million!

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Donald Markgraff; and his dad, Richard Pinson. He will forever be missed by the love of his life, Jessica Harris; his mother, Ruthanne; Uncle Donald; brothers, Alex, Ethan, Cody, and Dakota; mother-in-law, Verlene; and Grandma Diane; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and Billy Bobby’s crew who will pickup the pieces of our broken hearts and somehow go on without him.

As per his request there will be no funeral or services. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. To leave a message or memory for the family go to bonnersferryfuneralhome.com. Bonners Ferry Funeral Home is caring for the family.
