Sandra Almeda Chaffee

Sandra Almeda Chaffee was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family.
Sandra Almeda Chaffee passed peacefully on October 16, 2025, at the age of 79.
Sandra was born Dec. 14, 1945, to Alvin and Jane McCouiston in Phoenix, Ariz., and grew up hunting and fishing with her family.
She married the love of her life, Lorenzo Chaffee, in 1968 and raised their three children, Terri, Alvin and Tammi in Western Washington. In 1990, Sandy and Lon moved to Moses Lake, Wash., and made their home there.
Sandra was a devoted Christian who attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Moses Lake.
Sandra loved to spend time with family and friends, especially her grandkids and great-grandchildren. She spent her spare time in the garden growing vegetables for canning the best salsa.
Sandra is survived by her son Alvin Chaffee (Angie), daughter Tammi Kassman (Greg), 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Chaffee, her daughter Terri Chaffee, her grandson Lorenzo Chaffee and her brother Craig McCouiston.
Sandra's loving spirit will be missed by all.
