NO. 31672 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF COLUMBIA FALLS AMENDING THE 25-26 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET On December 1, 2025, during the 7:00 p.m. regular council meeting, the City Council of the City of Columbia Falls, shall conduct a public hearing for the purpose of taking public comment on the proposed 25-26 Fiscal Year Budget Amendment. The City Council is conducting a public hearing on proposed budget amendments pursuant to Title 7, Chapter 6, Part 40, MCA. The City is proposing amending 5310 Sewer Enterprise Fund appropriations for the purchase of a replacement dump truck. After the adoption of the budget, the City’s Sewer Fund dump truck became unusable and must be replaced. The City is proposing to amend the budget by an amount not to exceed $125,000 for vehicle replacement. The purchase will be funded from available cash resources in the Sewer Fund.
