"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." A.A.Milne

In Loving Memory of

Bradley John Young

March 14, 1962-Sept. 19, 2025

Son, Brother, Husband, Stepfather, Grandfather, and Friend

Generous and loyal, strong-willed and stubborn, Brad had an enormous heart and an infectious laugh. The man could build or fix anything and spent many hours engineering the heck out of the plethora of projects and honey do lists on his calendar.

Brad was full to the brim with knowledge acquired through his life experiences — river guide, lifty, ski racer, ski patrol, ski racing coach, helicopter mechanic, miner, and mining engineer, just to name a few. He was the kind of man you could count on to lend a hand, give advice, and share the best stories. And just so you know, some of them may have been about you.

Gregarious and outgoing, Brad was a generous friend who touched the lives of many and had the rare gift of creating community wherever he found himself. The outpouring of love during this difficult time is a testament to the kind of man he was. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family, and he truly loved each of them. If you knew Brad, you loved Brad.

Our hearts are heavy with loss, and we will miss this man fiercely, but we will honor his adventurous spirit with love, laughter, and maybe a beer.

Rev up that two stroke, tip your wings, ski fast, shoot the rapids, ride hard. Forever in our hearts.

Those Brad leaves behind in Canada include, his mother, father, sister, and a large assortment of family who will grieve his loss tremendously.

In the U.S, Brad leaves behind his wife, stepdaughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and so many more who loved him.
