The Silver Skaters event began over 10 years ago in Spokane. Players recently renewed the fun tournament for women over the age of 50, and the plan is to make it a tradition in Whitefish. Forty-four skaters from Washington, Canada and Montana came to the Stumptown Ice Den to participate last weekend and share meals, stories and friendship.
