Spikers settle for split

The Columbia Falls volleyball team split last week. They beat Ronan at home for homecoming Tuesday, 23-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-11.
Kamryn Ladenburg led the team with 14 kills, Ashlyn Dunham and Rylee Sweeney had 9 apiece and Anabelle Middlesworth had 8.
Jezanie Brooks had 38 of the Kats 41 assists.
“We started out slow,” said coach Jolandie Brooks. “I think we thought Ronan was going to hand it to us. We settled in the last three sets.”
Against Bigfork on the road, the Wildkats lost in four, 15-25, 25-20, 23-25 and 13-25.
Sweeney and Ladenburg had eight kills apiece.
