Known for fusing classical refinement with pop and rock swagger, Take3 returns to the O’Shaughnessy Center stage Oct. 4.

With a flair for the wild and unexpected, the genre-defying trio brings the refinement of a rigorous classical music background and infuses it with rock-star charisma.

Trained at the world’s top conservatories and led by violinist Lindsay Deutsch, Take3 has expanded its repertoire from Bach and Beethoven to Justin Bieber and The Beach Boys, performing arrangements of top pop hits, Americana, and their signature classical mashups.

Deutsch, a charismatic soloist and chamber musician, has toured the globe with symphonies and is known for her work with Yanni, David Foster, and on blockbuster film soundtracks, including “The Good Shepherd” and “The Soloist.” Her collaborators in Take3 are equally accomplished — each member bringing a distinct background that blends classical discipline with an adventurous spirit for crossover performance.

What began as an experimental side project has grown into a nationwide sensation, described as a mini–Trans Siberian Orchestra experience.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and is presented by the Whitefish Theatre Company.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students with reserved seating and may be purchased online at whitefishtheatreco.org, at the box office, 1 Central Ave., Whitefish, or by calling 862-5371.
