Flathead Valley Community College’s Art Department presents a special exhibition by visiting artist Julie Cron, showcasing her unique jewelry designs from Oct. 7-Nov. 17 in the Arts and Technology art gallery.
The public is invited to a free opening reception on Oct. 7 from 4-6 p.m.
Julie Cron, the creative force behind Stray Jewelry, is known for her powerful, intuitive designs that blend ancient relics with futuristic talismans. As a metalsmith, Cron’s work is inspired by themes of magic, mystery, space and multi-dimensions, with each piece crafted to empower its wearer.
“Jewelry has the power to make you feel the most powerful version of yourself. I created Stray Jewelry so I could help others feel confident to step into their power, embrace their unique expression and live boldly and authentically.” Cron explained.
The exhibit offers an opportunity to see her work up close, offering a closer look into her design process and creative vision.
The exhibit is sponsored by the FVCC Art Club and open from Oct. 7-Nov. 17 in the art gallery located in the Arts and Technology Building on campus in Kalispell.
