COEUR d’ALENE — Freshman Cameron Zajer had 11 kills and five digs for the sixth-ranked Salt Lake Community College Bruins in a 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 win over North Idaho College in a Scenic West Athletic Conference match at Christianson Gymnasium on Thursday.
Olivia Zazuetta, a freshman from Lakeland High, had seven assists for NIC (11-8, 0-2 SWAC). Sophomore Sidney Streiff had five kills, sophomore Rylie Dolven five assists for the Cardinals.
Shaylee Dahle, a freshman from Blackfoot High, had 10 kills and three blocks for Salt Lake (16-3, 3-0).
NIC hosts Colorado Northwestern on Saturday.
