Lloyd E. Potter, 82, of Sandpoint, Idaho, passed away at home Sept. 28, 2025.
Born on June 20, 1943, in Tulsa, Okla., Lloyd lived a life marked by service, craftsmanship, and deep connection. He attended Columbia Basin College in Washington and proudly served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and National Guard. Lloyd dedicated 30 years to General Telephone/Verizon and had been a member of the Tri-Cities Rods and Roadsters and the Telephone Pioneers Association.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Christene; daughters Ereika (E.D.) and Olivia; and grandchildren Em, Halle, and Erik.
He found joy in fishing, fly tying, camping, golfing, painting, riding ATVs, and loved sharing stories and spending time with family and lifelong friends. His warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Elks Lodge in Ponderay on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m.
