CDAIDE, a nonprofit that provides support and resources for those who work in food service and hospitality, will host its fifth annual Chef Challenge at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Hagadone Event Center.

A Night of Flavor and Compassion will feature six top local chefs who will go head-to-head in a series of live cooking challenges and appetizer tastings — all to raise critical funds for hospitality workers facing hardships.

Guests will:
• Taste and vote on appetizers crafted by the chefs
• Select a mystery ingredient for the live cooking showdown
• Enjoy a buffet dinner prepared by Chef Reannan Keene of izzy’s Comfort Kitchen
• Join in uplifting and supporting the region’s hospitality heroes

Tickets are $125 each or $1,000 for a table of eight and can be purchased at auctria.events/CDAIDEChefChallenge.

Last year’s event raised nearly $60,000 and attracted over 200 guests.
