CLARK FORK — Junior Nora-Jean Hoy posted a team-high eight kills and a team-high six aces, eclipsing 50 aces on the season in the process, and the Lady Cats downed the Lady Warriors in straight sets (25-18, 25-15, 25-16) in a non-league matchup held Saturday afternoon at Clark Fork High.

Freshman Kiylah Anderson totaled a team-high 23 assists and added three kills and four aces of her own for Clark Fork, which used a 9-2 run to close the first set and 10-4 and 6-0 runs to start off the second and third sets, respectively.

"We got the job done," Clark Fork High head coach Lyndsie Kiebert-Carey said about her Lady Cats, which worked out some kinks in the offense on the day. "Kiylah mixed up the offense well; we are encouraging her to be more of a threat. Our left-sides, Aurora and Piper, talked well on defense. We're encouraging them to pass the type of ball that will help us run a fast and efficient offense out of the middle, and they did well with that."

Senior Aurora Lane chipped in six kills and three aces while senior Piper Scarlett and freshman Vanessa Rogier contributed five kills each in what was a season sweep of former league rival Kootenai.

Clark Fork (7-7) will host Genesis Prep on Tuesday for a 2A Scenic Idaho Conference game that will also serve as the team's senior night and homecoming matchup.
