Ida Rose Fisher

Ida Rose Fisher went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sept. 15, 2025, in Columbia Falls, Montana.
She was born on Sept. 29, 1942, in Eureka, Montana to Harold and Madlin Wilson. At a young age, Ida, her parents and two older sisters settled in Libby, Montana.
Ida attended schools in Libby, graduating from Libby High School with the class of 1961.
After receiving her certified Nurses Aid Certificate, Ida worked for the Libby Care Center and St. John's Lutheran Hospital from 1970-1987. In 1988, she moved to Kalispell working for Kalispell Regional Hospital until her retirement in 2025. Her dedication, kindness and compassions proved she had chosen the right vocation as she was very much loved and appreciated by her patients and co-workers.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents; sister Evelyn Sena and two nieces.
Ida is survived by her daughter, Shauney Fisher (Rick Eby), Libby; her granddaughter Jaylee Duty (Jayme) Big Fork, Montana; one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson; a sister, Madelle Bowen in Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Rest in Peace Dar Ida - your beautiful smile, infectious laughter and wonderful memories will be with us forever.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at the Libby Christian Church. A pot luck dinner will follow after the service at the church pavilion.
