Joanne Breezee, 85

Joanne (Jasken) Breezee, 85, was born on March 2, 1940, on a farm outside of Ogema, Minnesota to Barney Jasken and Corrine (Young) Jasken. The family later moved to Park Rapids, Minnesota where she graduated from high school in 1957.
After high school, Joanne started working at Bell Telephone company as a switchboard operator in Park Rapids. In May 1962, Joanne married Leonard Breezee of Park Rapids in Kent, Washington. Joanne continued her career with Bell Telephone, later AT&T, until retiring in 1987. During this time, her husband worked for the Kent School District transportation department and was a volunteer fireman. In December 1965, they welcomed their son, Jeffrey, who now is a retired border patrol agent and Army National Guard officer, residing in Kalispell. In 1992, after her husband, Leonard retired, the couple moved to Columbia Falls and later to Kalispell. Joanne enjoyed gardening, arranging flowers, crocheting quilts and creating scrapbooks. She also enjoyed camping with her husband and son as well as relatives and friends.
Joanne is survived by her son, Jeffrey, granddaughter, Anastasiya of El Paso, Texas, sister, Marriella (Lawrence) Stavish of Little Falls, Minnesota, brother, Bernie Jasken of Gackle, North Dakota and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joanne was preceded in death by husband, Leonard, parents, Barney and Corrine Jasken, brother, Justin Jasken, sister, Eleanor Masters, brother-in-law, Burt Masters, and sister-in-law, Rae Jasken.
