Lady Dogs fall to Wildcats, win against Loggers

The Bulldogs fell 3-1 to the Columbia Falls Wildcats on Sept. 30, a switch up from the last time the rivals met in 2024.
Whitefish started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, 27-25.
Camry Kelch had 11 kills and Allie Shors had 29 assists.
The Lady Dogs will have a chance at redemption, as they’re scheduled to play the Wildcats again at home on Oct. 28.
Whitefish played Libby Oct. 2 and won each set handily, 25-10, 25-15 and 25-8.
The Bulldogs, with a 24-10-2 record, face Bigfork on Tuesday at home, just after press time.
The Butte Central tournament on Friday and Saturday.
