The reports below were provided by the Ephrata Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Oct. 1
700 block of Basin St NW. A female was repeatedly warned to stay out of traffic but continued walking into the roadway, nearly causing a collision. She was arrested and booked for Disorderly Conduct.
E St NE. A woman reported that while walking in bright orange clothing, a vehicle drove directly at her. She was not harmed and requested documentation of the incident.
RD A NW. A woman was defrauded via Facebook Marketplace, allowing access to her bank account. WA Trust Bank detected the fraud and froze the account. She received guidance on identity theft.
Sidewalk in Ephrata. A person was reported standing on a sidewalk near where children would be walking. No suspicious behavior was observed.
Grocery store (exact location not specified). A suspect attempted to leave the store with a cart of groceries. They were stopped and admitted to feeling insecure about food but did not confess to theft.
SR 282 / 17 Interchange. A hit-and-run occurred. The suspect vehicle was located within city limits. Washington State Patrol arrested the suspect.
Oct. 2
Roundabout. Two-vehicle collision. One driver failed to yield to another already in the roundabout.
Roadside (Exact location not specified). Welfare check. A person was seen lunging at vehicles. Officers provided transportation to a bus stop.
700 block of Basin St NW. Weapons offense. A female suspect with a knife refused to exit a vehicle. She was tased and arrested for unlawful weapon possession and obstruction.
Peachtree Dr. Suspicious activity. A vehicle was reported on private property. The owner was inspecting the location—no issues found.
Basin Street parking lots. Lost property. A man reported losing his driver’s license. He checked with staff but was unable to locate it.
Private residence (Exact location not specified). Verbal domestic dispute. A woman was kicked out and denied access to retrieve belongings. She later requested charges and gave a statement.

Jody L Przespolewski, 33, unlawful carrying of weapon. Jakob P Sjolin, 31, second-degree burglary.
Kelsi M. Rogers, 26, second degree burglary and false/misleading statements.
Oct. 3
300 block of Mocliff. 911 hang-up call. Officers attempted contact at the pinged location but received no answer.
100 Blk E St NW. Non-operable vehicle reported as a traffic hazard. Owner contacted and agreed to move it.
Airport St SE. Rollover accident. Driver swerved to avoid an animal and rolled the vehicle twice. No serious injuries.
GCPUD Yard. Dog trapped in a yard. RP later decided to handle the situation independently.
NWW Roundabout. Suspicious person digging a hole. He was trying to replant a knocked-over yield sign. DOT notified.
Field behind Walmart, Nat Washington Way. Fire started by individual cleaning up trash. Area resembled a campsite. Advised no camping or burning allowed.
Nob Hill Dr. Report of a single gunshot. Area checked; residents believed it was a firework.
1100 Blk A St SE. Welfare check requested by out-of-town father concerned about his son’s health. Call with ex ended abruptly.
Basin St SW. Loud karaoke music from outdoor speaker. Business was trying to attract customers. Speaker moved inside.
Oct. 4
E St NE. Domestic incident. Suspect under influence, accused RP of infidelity, stole bike, and threw boulder through window.
E St NE. Verbal fight with suicidal threats. Subject overwhelmed due to brother leaving. Mental health concerns noted.
1200 Blk Basin St SW. Suspicious vehicle repeatedly circling restaurant. Vehicle left when RP made eye contact.
1300 Blk Nat Washington Way. Theft of scope optic. Suspect previously involved in August theft.
900 Blk K St SE. Loud music complaint. Homeowner agreed to turn it down.
Airport/Lockheed. Single-vehicle crash. Driver failed to turn, veered off road. Minor injuries reported.
Unknown location. 911 hang-up with screaming. Domestic argument led to window being broken. Info relayed to GCSO.
Oct. 5
300 Blk 6th Ave SE. Verbal domestic. Ex-tenant returned and caused issues. RP informed of legal options.
100 block of 1st Ave NW. Female suspect tried to fight others and pushed RP. Suspect trespassed and removed.
Gym, Basin NW. Suspicious male in gym since early morning. Found asleep on couch, fled after confrontation.
1300 block Basin St SW. Trespassing complaint. Suspect returned to property. RP wanted him moved along.
Hotel breakfast area. Suspicious guest making others uncomfortable. Guest was staying at hotel. Situation handled.
Basin St NW. Lost envelope with money and bank receipts. RP believed items were taken while she slept.
100 Blk 4th Ave SW. Drug complaint. Suspect allegedly smoking fentanyl. Denied drug use when contacted.
2300 Blk Chelan St. Cold collision involving work vehicle. RP backed into another car. All parties contacted.
Oct. 6
Park Place. RP stated he was asleep when he awoke to what he believed were two gunshots. He also heard voices outside his house at the same time. Police checked the area and were unable to locate anyone. Police also walked the alley and the roads around his house for brass.
