Bonners Ferry Herald | UPDATED 2 months AGO
Mary Hicks, 91, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who passed away peacefully in her home and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025.
Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Pathway Church, 3115 N. 15th St., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815.
Mary was born June 19, 1934, to Louis and Lola Moler. She was the sixth of 10 children. She graduated from Blaine High School in 1952. Mary worked in construction alongside her husband for many years. They also owned the Ferndale Coast to Coast Store for seven years.
Mary’s greatest joys were visiting with family and friends, playing games and gardening. She also loved to work on putting puzzles together, reading her Bible daily, singing hymns and spending time in her flower garden that she and her daughter, Bev, worked on. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and children when they were growing up, and she and Eldon continued traveling after their kids were grown.
Mary was a great prayer warrior who loved the Lord with all her heart. Anyone who knew her knew she prayed daily for her family and loved ones. Her greatest hope for her family was that they would all know the Lord as their personal savior, so they would be reunited with her in heaven.
