Wescott, Foushee win Pacific Northwest Pro-Am

PORTLAND, Ore. — PGA Professional Hunter Wescott of Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Ore., and his amateur Zach Foushee of Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora, Ore., won the Pacific Golf & Turf Pro-Amateur Championship on Thursday at Portland Golf Club.

The two-man team competition consisted of one professional and one amateur playing a four-ball format.

Wescott and Foushee shot 64-62—126, 18 under par for the 36-hole tournament, and won by two strokes.

Amateur Reid Hatley of Hayden Lake and professional Corey Prugh, head golf coach at Spokane Colleges, finished tied for 15th, shooting 64-72— 136, 8 under par.

Billy Bomar of Bomar Putting Company, former co-owner of Prairie Falls Golf Club, and Mike Kerns of Riverbend Golf Complex in Kent, Wash., finished tied for 25th at 69-70—139, 5 under par.
