“Sandpoint Trident” trio a part of undefeated soccer team at Utah tournament

The prestigious event featured 65 teams from Washington, California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Hawaii, and Colorado. Playing for the Sting Soccer Club of Coeur d'Alene, which previously secured second place at the Idaho State Cup this past spring and were crowned champions at the Northwest Cup this fall, the trio finished the event with a resounding 4-0 victory over Los Angeles Surf Futures, a thrilling 3-3 draw with Albion SC Las Vegas, and a competitive 1-1 tie with Total Futbol Academy of Orange County, Calif. Thanks to the efforts of Drube, Noble and Conner, the Sting were one of only 17 teams to remain undefeated throughout the competition.
