Bravettes defeat Capital in five-set thriller

Flathead battled through five sets against Capital, winning 25-23, 16-25, 25-21, 17-25, 15-11 in a Western AA volleyball matchup Saturday.
Makenna Aldrich led Flathead with 17 kills and four blocks, while setter Cheyenne Heino dished out 35 assists. Anna Bain provided eight aces at the service line and defensively; Reilly Judd collected 15 digs as the Bravettes out-dug Capital 64-58.

Flathead suffered a straight-set loss to Helena High 25-17, 25-14, 25-9 to open their weekend.
Anna Bain led the Bravettes with nine digs, while the team totaled 36 overall. Offensively, Makenna Aldrich and Addison Thornsberry each tallied four kills. Cheyenne Heino added nine assists, and Emy O’Deu delivered two of Flathead’s four aces.
