Born Dorothy Ann Girod, to Homer A. Girod, and Marie L. Girod, on Sept. 14, 1925, in Portland, Ore. She passed away Aug. 27, 2025, just a few weeks shy of her 100th birthday.
She attended Portland public schools. Secretary in both Portland and Salem, Ore. Married the late Marvin Scott on April 5, 1946. Moved from Battle Ground, Wash., to Idaho in 1989 and to Coeur d'Alene in 1990. Former member of Grace Bible Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Daniele Brownell (Marv) of Sun Lakes, Ariz., five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Rochelle Alba and her grandson, Brandon Sundet.
There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
