Alta Marie (Borup) Williams

Alta Marie (Borup) Williams, 81, was raised in Eureka later splitting her time between Trego and Kalispell. She married Ronald "Keith" Williams in 1960, and they had four children.
In 1971 they bought the Trego Store, which they owned until 1978. She later pursued a degree in forestry and went to work at local ranger stations, then went on to start her own forestry business with a friend.
In the early 80's Alta became a grandma and absolutely adored her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and before she passed away, she was able to meet her great-great-granddaughter, Alta Ann.
In their 50's Keith and Alta adopted a total of six girls from four different countries.
Alta had a loving heart, feisty spirit, and quick humor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Keith Williams, her sons, Tony, Larry, and Dennis Williams, and her parents, Lawrence and Wanda Borup.
Alta is survived by her children, Rhonda Williams Schaefer, Shauna, Cecelia, Sonia, Anna, and Sara Williams, Krystina Bergman, and many other beloved relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kalispell on Oct. 19 at 1:30 p.m.
